The thing I like most about this birthday card is that I didn’t even write the message. When I announced on twitter that i was making a card for Jonathan, I also asked you guys to tweet me any kind words you had to say about him that i could put in the message. I checked my replies minutes later, and it was overflowing. Srsly. I was waiting for the Fail Whale to show up. I literally just copied and pasted bits and pieces from your replies and spun/twirled/twisted it into the sweetest thing ever. Someone even sent in an adorable poem! I had so much fun making this card and just wanted to thank you guys for your last minute participation. Last minute on my part, I mean. I think i started it around 10 PM haha. Anyways, I don’t think he has seen it yet, but i’m not giving up. Even if i have to get it blown up to poster size, go to an FTSK show, and wave it in his face Lol.

This Thursday will mark the sixth day of January for year 2011. Now, you can look at this a couple different ways. The Christians will be feasting for the Epiphany. The Americans will probably be enjoying some cool bean activities in honor of National Bean Day. And some of you may still be mourning the death of President Theodore Roosevelt. However, I hope all you Forever The Sickest Kids fans on twitter will take some time and help us celebrate the birth of lead singer/twitter icon/postal jeep owner Jonathan Cook. The plan is to start tweeting ‘#happybdayjcook’ late wednesday night and keep going until we get it trending! We’ve done it before. We can do it again. If you have any other ideas on how we can make this super fun/awesome/crazy twitter birthday for him, please share! Can I attempt to be poetic for a second hah, some might refer to it as emo but I don’t really care at this specific moment ha. Meet Natalie. Usually I’m able to describe my feelings or emotions but with this girl, anything that I would say would underplay the way that I really feel for her. I could say she reminds me of a children’s playground, full of innocent laughter and immediate excitement but her joy is so much more. I could say that she’s like a warm, orange sunset gently bowing for it’s daily performance, but her beauty far outweighs that. I could say her eyes are as captivating as the stars and her scent as pleasing as a field of colorful windblown lilies, but for me, I would be attempting to describe the indescribable. She makes me feel like I can do anything. All I need is a kiss from her and I could take on all of Sparta with one hand while writing her love poems in the other, then kill ten ferocious lions with rocks and spears, build a three story mansion out of bamboo, and summon all the local dragons while wearing only a loin cloth. ;) She empowers me. Welcome her with open arms! cheers!
